The British perfume house, Creed, a producer of fragrances since 1760, has released its latest scent, “Aventus”, which, according to the press release takes its inspiration from Napoleon Bonaparte.
“Aventus […] honors traits of virility, power, strength and vision, inspired by Napoleon, the man who crowned himself emperor of France and all Europe, a self-made king who waged war, peace and love on terms he set. Creed Aventus gets its name from an ancient word …meaning 'success'. […] Aventus includes birch of Louisiana, an area Napoleon ruled, but today a focus of environmental concern.”
The website goes on to say:
“Evoking the legendary men whose inspiration and drive have changed the face of the world, 'Aventus' conjures up lost empires, far distant lands and exotic ambitions.
[…]
Challenging, masculine, optimistic and thrusting – 'Aventus' is the ultimate experience for the modern man who builds on the legacy of the ages to develop his own unique and successful lifestyle.”
