Recordando un Olvido 1808-1810: Pontones Prisiones en la Bahia de Cadiz

This is the history of French prisoners of war after the battle of Trafalgar. 3676 men were kept prisoner on pontoons in the bay of Cadiz.
Some prisoners who returned to france left testimonies and memoirs in which they tell the story of what happened during their captivity. This study looks at these sources to look at this incident which is often forgotten in Spanish historiography.
